I have settled I think upon my MMO's to play, and they will be LOTRO and the remade Final Fantasy XIV. The story is fantastic, the unofficial RP server I'm on is great, my lalafell is like if a hobbit and an adorable kitten were somehow fused....seriously if anyone's pondering trying it let me know I would love for some company on here. It is monthly fee based, but there is no 'pay to play money shop' system (which really in some cases can cost you more, plus you get rewards for each month you have a sub (like some crazy looking mounts). Your chocobo, though not having mounted combat yet, can be summoned to fight along side you when not riding it and levels as you use it, unlocking new abilities and barding and such. The story is probably the smartest thing to come out of square in years (a return to when FF games actually had good stories and gameplay), there are some moments that had me shedding tears. Also the first major patch just came out adding a lot of big things to the game. Please feel free to ask any questions.

very cute! My girlfriend and I are planning to play soon as I can afford a PS3. Im looking forward to it because I played FFXI on and off for years. I do like the idea of being able to just switch gear to do a job. Just imagine the LOTRO version...able to be a Captain one moment, Guardian or Ministrel the next, hehe

OMG antlers and a bell around the neck! That is too cute!
Suddenly I have the urge to dress up my two German Shepherds for Christmas.
Poor dogs...

There's a program you can run to see if your PC can handle the game...mine couldnt even play that, LoL. So instead of buying a new computer, its PS3 for me

I tinker with FFXIV: ARR from time to time! I'm on Gilgamesh, as Ameria Ootini and enjoy crafting and gathering a lot. If anyone is playing or does play, say hi sometime!

Just an update, as I've been distracted by a lot of r/l stuff and not been up on anything. Moved to Balmung server in FF, as it's the stronger "RP" server in game. Also planning to try to make more frequent periodic appearances on LOTRO as, again, r/l stuff is distracting.

Now is a great time to come back to LOTRO for awhile. We have so many social events going on in May and June, you're sure to have a great time with friends. Don't forget to post more FF screenies!
