Originally born in the Dale Lands, Ulfgrimm moved with his family to Bree when he was still young. Due to misfortune, his parents were killed when he was a child, leaving him alone to beg for food. He felt pity for the child and so, Ulfgrimm was cared for, fed and taught all his skills in the stealthy arts. He grew to love Shade as a parent figure overtime and when he was old enough, Shade gave him his blessings. It was then he struck out on his own to make his way in the shadows.
