Daewath the Slender Shadow, a Teleri Elf from the First Age who survived the Kinslaying at Alqualondë, and later served in the army of King Elu Thingol of Doriath under [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beleg]Beleg Cúthalion[/link], from who he learned the Bow and the Blade.

Aikanar the Sharp-Flame, born under the malorn leaves of Lothlórien from Daewath and Mallornwyn the Golden Leaf, was initially called Amaldon the Gentle until his father recognized the strikingly similar semblance with Lady Galadriel's older brother, Aegnor. After demonstrating interest for the Blades, he received the name Aikanar, Aegnor's original Quenya mother-name, as suggested by the Lady herself.
