Liff - AWOL?

Hi there, bandies! Just wanted to apologize for being absent, and to explain...I'm dealing with degenerative lumbar disease. Basically, two lumbar discs are starting to fail, and for now, it's manageable with steroids - but every few months or so, it flares up, and it's done just that again recently. This is the first time I've been able to sit upright for days.

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't abandoned the kin :) Love you guys too much for that! I'm just in the process of recovering, and I'll be back on soon (could be a few days, could be a week or two.)

Take care, and keep Middle Earth musical! (And try to keep the BBB from attracting any more attention from the Bree guards...)

Ooo, that is not fun. I had dealt with back problems for the last 20 years. The first six involved an ugly cocktail of various meds to manage it, and I had the opposite problem. I could could not lie down for more than an hour at a time. That was driving me mad, more than the pills and the general pain involved. I so longed to be able to lie down for a good night sleep.

I will be thinking good thoughts for you and look forward to your return.

As for the BBB, you should know it is not a good concert unless we can stir up the watch. The real key is to be able to outrun them, or at least the other band members. Why do you think Beor carries that staff? It is to trip up the hobbits as we try to escape.
