Silmaruth! The War of Wrath began and ended with the world broken and marred. Accepting pardon, Morel, follower of Maglor, went into the West never again to return to Middle-earth. His son, Arikel, stayed in Lindon under the kingship of Gil-Galad. Later, he journeyed to Ost-in-Edhel with Celebrimbor as a weapon smith. Arikel returned to Lindon after the destruction of Eregion, eventual fall of Gil-Galad, and the defeat of Sauron. In the early third age, Arikel became a disciple of Ulmo and often travelled the waters into strange places in Middle-earth. The company of his own kind has seemed to be of less interest to him than before. His present motivations and desires are.....unclear. And some wonder if Arikel may even follow the direction of the Lord of the Waters himself. All that is truly known is that he seeks every bit of lore that has been lost regarding all the Free Peoples of Middle-earth, and even the Powers themselves.
