Darkwise, of the Fallohide hobbits of Northfarthing, was a direct descendant of the legendary hero Bullroarer Took. After Orcs from the misty mountains destroyed his home and family, Darkwise was left to fend for himself. Picked up by dwarves of Erebor on their way to a mining excursion, Darkwise was adopted and raised by Thorin III Stonehelm, Darkwise helped his father rebuild Erebor and Dale, and prospered as a close ally of the Reunited Kingdom of King Elessar, He later became known through The Lonely Mountain as Darkwise Took-Stonehelm, Prince Under the Mountain, where he still resides today. While Darkwise's Dwarven upbringing has taught him to enjoy pints of black ale, he also enjoys Old Toby pipeweed, a long hobbit tradition.
