Erebel of Mirkwood is a young Elf just coming of age (little over hundred years old). During her formative years she displayed interest in metallurgy and due to cosmopolitan nature of her region (Lonely Mountain and Dale being near Mirkwood) has cross-trained with Dwarf and Man craftsmen during trading missions into Dale. As a result she developed a friendships outside of the Eldar. However, as a young Elf she soon discovered that friendships with shorter-lived races often get interrupted by death. Among the Race of Man she developed a friendship with Dale blacksmith Emerwulf. Emerwulf was sent out with a caravan carrying trade goods produced by his family's business, to help bolster ranks of its guards and learn that side of the family business. Unfortunately, the caravan was ambushed by brigands and no survivors were ever found.

Shortly thereafter Erebel's closest friend among the Dwarfs, Fastjarvi Redbeard, was ordered to join expedition to Thorin's Hall to reclaim Dwarven holdings in Ered Luin from Dourhands. Unwilling to lose him as well, Erebel joined him in travels to Ered Luin in hopes of helping keep him safe. There she was embroiled in the effort to remove the Dourhands from the land.

As a young Elf, she is remarkably resistant to the sorrows that plague so many Eldar at the end of the Third Age. However, she is still struggling to develop her own identity and seeks to experience the world into which she was born.

Thank you very much for accepting the application. Some background on me as a player, I'm coming to LOTRO from EVE Online (they can have my money back in 18 to 24 months, if anybody gets the reference) and before that WAR, AoC, and Tabula Rasa.
