Have you a favorite spot or location that would be perfect for Ales & Tales or Ales & Tales Extreme?
Please share it!
Locations for regular A&T should be fairly safe for low-level folks to get to.
Extreme locations can be high level or really out of the way places!
If you've a theme idea that goes along with a spot, also let us know!

A&T Extreme:
Moria - Second Hall
On the stairs leading from the west side of Second Hall up to Zelem-melek. If you go up one of the two stairs at the bottom and up the short middle stair you will get to a place with a green crystal lamp and two crystals on the sides and two stairs to each side leading up. Very pretty view of the stone trees as well. And probably an orc choir singing in the background

How about the broken end of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm? It's a raised area for bands to stand on, with a lovely courtyard at the foot of it. Of course, someone would probably need to be on mob patrol, but it is right by the entrance of Moria.

BTW Just wanted to remind that Sept 22 is Bilbo/Frodo's birthday & it falls on a Monday this year.

Sons of Numenor has scheduled their annual Festival of Light celebration for that night. So, an abbreviated Ales & Tales will take place at 8:00 pm instead of the usual time.

Across the water from Needlehole Bridge in The Shire is a nice grassy patch with a few froggies for company. I thought this would make a good setting for A&T.

Hey, here's a wild idea...
How about the secret bar at the top of the 21st Hall in Moria?
I could stash an alt up there with plenty of summoning horns.

For the April 20th's A&T, would it be possible to have an equestrian/western-themed show at Hengstacer Farms, the Bree Festival Grounds, or Hobnanigan's Field #2? This would help advertise the Spring Racing Carnival which takes place the next Saturday. We could announce the winners of the first three qualifier cups and the schedule for the big day.

Sounds like a plan! :)

Has there ever been an A & T Extreme at the Pristine Glade? I was just there yesterday and it's quite a lovely setting. Rather unexpected in that area of the Dunbog....

Oh, Tearna LOVES the Pristine Glade. So very pretty!! Do you have to own or have completed the quest to get in there though?

I think there is a quest line that has to have been done. I ended up there after doing quests in the Dunbog in Dunland. That's why I suggested it for "Extreme" rather than a regular A & T. It's so pretty in there!

Eeek, I think I will have to find the quest-- I don't remember Lhinn ever going there!

re: Sandson's Farm
by Daffodilia on 2015/07/07 11:36 am
As some may recall, five years ago I started putting together a bunch of chicken related events with help from a few kins for what I dubbed "Month a' the Chicken" in August. I always co-ordinate the month via my alt Daffodilia of the Bounders of the Shire.
This will be the 6th Month a' the Chicken, and LMB has held one of our Ales n' Tales at Sandson's Farm during one of the Mondays in August for all five years prior.
I'm trying to get my preliminary schedule set to start advertising the month. So "on behalf of Daff", as it were, I'm formally asking if we can have an Ales & Tales at Sandson's once again this year. Any Monday that works for those who handle the schedule is fine with me if so--I only need the date so I can add it to my adverts.
Thankies for your consideration on this matter.
