The poem in this chapter ("Under the Mountains dark and tall...") is introduced as "much like the song they had sung long before in Bilbo's little hobbit-hole," so perhaps we can set this to the same tune as we did that song? Was that King of the Fairies?
Posting the poll today, discussion topics later...I'm sleepy. :-) Sunday will likely be my sister's birthday party so Friday and Saturday are the only options this week...

Regretfully, I will miss this meeting as well. My daughter is performing Irish Dancing for a St. Patty's day event Saturday evening.

This is a brief chapter so I haven't got much in the way of discussion topics:
1) Ravens : Dwarves :: Thrush : Men of Dale...Useful allies, these birds!
2) The curse of a dragon's hoard, making Thorin so unreasonable and greedy and proud
3) Bilbo's practicality - always thinking of food rather than treasure!
