Dear Merenda! Were you ever able to speak to an officer Monday night and get an invite? I'm so sorry I wasn't able to interview you at the time you asked, what with hosting Ales and Tales. If you haven't had your interview yet, just /joinchannel alesandtales and ask in that chat room to see if an officer is online and able to recruit you.
