Have you read & do you agree with LMB charter?:
Yes

Do you understand that Kin chat channel is for LOTRO and Tolkien related chat only?:
Yes

Use this area to share why you want to join LMB.:
I really want an immersive experience in the LOTRO world (new here as of less than two weeks ago). When I go out questing, I try to strike up conversations with people but at this point it has always been one-sided, and I have just about given up in trying it. Particularly impressed that you try to truly inhabit a "Tolkien" world, as that can encourage that immersion.

Player info:

Age Range:
Old Fogey

Tell us about any MMO or RP experience you may have: :
I only have one previous experience with an MMO: Many years ago, I played Neverwinter Nights (the original computer game) on the Arelith server, which was a true roleplaying server. I really enjoyed the roleplaying there, and was realizing recently how much I missed that. So I did some research online as to which MMORPGs were focused on RP and LOTRO kept coming up; at least for the Landroval and Laurelin servers.

Please tell us what time zone you are in. (i.e. EST): :
EST

Character information:

Tell us about your character: :
Saebrenwen was named for her father, Saebron, but her mother added the wen to denote the smile that she portrayed when first emerging from the womb. She is one of the Noldor elves, and always strives to retain the bliss and perfect memory of Aman. Sadly, this becomes much harder with the emergence of the dark forces in the land. She has made her way to Bree to see how she might aid in the coming war, though she knows it will end with the fading of the elves.

Please tell us of any previous/current kinships you have character(s) in LOTRO. :
none

LMB experience:

Were you referred by a current member? Who?: :
no

Have you ever been to LMB hosted event? If yes, what were your impressions? If no, are you planning on it in the next week? (Highly recommended!):
no

Gameplay preferences:

What activities do you enjoy most in LOTRO? :
I don't know yet, still learning the game.

Kinship expectations:

What are your expectations from LMB as a member? :
Camaraderie, shared adventure, fuller immersion into the Tolkien world.

What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? :
An emphasis on RP.

Tolkien:

Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favorite scenes or images? :
I have read the books a few times, once as a child, then again when the movies came out. I particularly loved the Hobbit when I read it, and its emphasis on Bilbo Baggins and the quest to defeat the dragon.
