Two Screenshot Contests - Win TP or Perlino Mount

This month’s contest is for riders with a bold sense of style!

Submit a screenshot of your best mounted jester costume. We want to see fools, acrobats, clowns, and pranksters in colorful outfits riding their favorite steeds. The winner will receive a code for 750 Turbine Points!



Here are the guidelines:

Submit your character’s name and server, your mount’s name and breed, and up to three screenshots of a single costume.
The screenshots must be original and designed by you.
You must be mounted in all screenshots.
You can crop and resize the screenshot, but do not edit the image.
Screenshots should be at least 1024×768 in resolution.
Entries can be emailed to kiralynn@roll3d6.com - Make sure to include the contest name (Jesters Horse Show).
Entries must be received by midnight EST on April 30th, 2012.
Winners will be selected by riding club members. All decisions are final.

It’s springtime and there is no better place to find scenic landscapes than Middle Earth. Submit a screenshot of your favorite place to ride. The winner will receive a code for an account-wide Perlino mount!

* Submit your character’s name and server, your horse’s name and breed, the name of the scenic location, and up to three screenshots.
* The screenshots must be original and taken by you.
* You must be mounted on a horse, pony, or goat of any breed.
* You can crop and resize the screenshot, but do not edit the image.
* Screenshots should be at least 1024×768 in resolution.
* The UI (user interface) must not be visible in the screenshot. Floating character names are allowed.
* Entries can be emailed to kiralynn@roll3d6.com - Make sure to include the contest name (Scenic Trails Screenshot).
* Entries must be received by midnight EST on Monday, April 30th, 2012.
* Characters must be at least level 5 and have the Riding skill to use the mount.
* You must log into myaccount.turbine.com to activate the code before it expires on May 9th, 2012.
* Only one code will be awarded. Windy Acres is not responsible for lost, transferred, or invalid codes.
* Winners will be selected by riding club members. All decisions are final.

The Horse Racing Screenshots Contest ended on Sunday, April 22nd at midnight. Many fine entries were submitted by riding club members, competitive riders, and racing fans. After reviewing all of the screenshots and taking a vote, the winners were selected.

Honorable Mention - Filsi Ironsong of Landroval and Firework Laden Steed Gamut training in Thorin's Hall Homesteads.


Third Place - Floradine of Landroval and the Lucky 777 Fun Run in Buckland.


Second Place - Shadewicke of Landroval and Dunedain horse Gladedancer in Enedwaith as they vault over a thicket.


First Place - Narania of Landroval and Swiftfoot training at the Bree Festival Grounds race track.

The Jesters Horse Show screenshot contest ended at midnight on Monday. The judges reviewed the wonderful screenshots we were sent. Now, it is time to announce the winners!

The first honorable mention goes to Byrcha of Landroval on Cave-claw Masked horse Snouts, shouting "Who's yer daddy?"


The second honorable mention goes to Narania of Landroval on Horse Lords steed Timmy at the festival grounds of the Shire homesteads.


In third place, Ettygyl of Imladris on Lossoth horse "Fuzzy Muzzy" - Etty has an idea. It may not be a good idea, but that's never stopped her before. She's trying to teach poor Fuzzy a new trick at home in Bree-town.


In second place, Kirti of Landroval on dark chestnut horse Fling, while she puts on a small and largely ridiculous show for the people of Galtrev.


The grand prize goes to Shadewicke of Landroval on Prized Smoky Black horse Cobalt scaring villagers in Sleepy Hol... er... Mirkwood. Shadewicke wins a code for 750 Turbine Points!

The Scenic Trails screenshot contest ended at midnight on Monday. The judges spent hours pouring over numerous screenshots that were sent in. It was very difficult to choose a winner, but eventually we came to a decision.

The first honorable mention goes to Lhinnthel of Landroval on Fireworks Laden horse Moonglow racing across the Midgewater Marshes.


The second honorable mention goes to Liebelilac of Landroval on Fireworks Laden horse Flint in Bree town.


The third honorable mention goes to Shadewicke of Landroval on Prized Theodred's Rider's horse Switchback scouting the river between the Lone Lands and the Trollshaws.


In third place, Cennwyn of Landroval on Eglain horse Leofwine traveling the Lone Lands near Weathertop.


In second place, Kirti of Landroval on prized Rivendell steed Goldie, paying tribute to the fine misty morning inside her Falathlorn neighborhood before heading out for more adventure.


The grand prize goes to Lairenuriel Embersage of Landroval on Lossoth Steed "Ast I Dinu", taking a mountain stroll in the Dourstocks, heading toward Dannenglor. Lairenuriel wins an account-wide Perlino mount!


She also submit this very nice shot on Steed of Night Karnefaire, taking a Spring walk with some deer, squirrels and foxes out in Duv Corvan.
