I am so sorry but I will not be able to make it tonight. My father is in the hospital and I am just not in a frame of mind to come out. I'm so sorry but although they are getting his blood pressure and sodium levels under control he's having so much confusion because we have not been able to visit because the hospital rules at this time being no visitors and he's been there since Thursday with nothing to do and he's 85. Talking to him it's like he's not even the same person. I am exhausted. I hope you understand my rambling. So sorry.

Very sorry to hear this, Tulenn. Having been under similar circumstances in the past (with both parents), I know how it must feel. *hugs* While it is a lot safer for him that they don't allow visitors, it can be difficult under the circumstances. I'm sure he'll be better soon!

But despite what you may have heard, we managed well, we Dwarrows.

Of course, to celebrate the fact that the Rest had reopened, every band decided to sign up, and Aedon was laughing at me whenever a new band would show up instead of helping. But justice was served, as Fleabagins got kicked out by Finky because Miaga found fleas on the bar table.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. My father is doing much better and his blood pressure and sodium levels are stabilized. He is a bit weak but over all seems to be doing well now. His confusion has clear quite a bit now also. We are awaiting word to go pick him up and bring him home. I will probably stay at my parents house for a bit to help out.

Just as a heads up, I will not be able to be at Ales & Tales this coming Monday, June 15th, as it is my husband's birthday and with Dad just getting home I will be a bit busy still but I hope to be there the following week. My husband said all he wanted for his birthday was for my Dad to come home (they are very close) so we will be celebrating both!
