Just an update on my husband: He is in the neurological ICU now. He definitely had a stroke and also has bleeding in the area behind his right ear. He is not able to breath without help from a cpap machine. They are talking about intubating him. They put in a vein tap around noon today so that they wouldn't have to keep sticking needles into his arm every time they needed a blood sample. Things do not look good at this point, but we are awaiting the results of further tests that have been ordered.
I just came home to shower and take care of the pets. I'm heading back to the hospital.

Good news, finally! Jerry (my husband) is now awake and aware (more or less) of his surroundings. He's been asking about the pets, so I came home and took care of them (I was planning on doing so anyway). He is answering questions, as well as asking his own questions...such as asking the staff members their names.

Oh Bima, I hope Jerry continues to improve quickly so that he can leave the hospital. It's so hard to get better there, what with all the noise and the strange food. Prayers for him and for you.
