Good luck, Haedirnill! I also played Age of Conan prior to coming to LotRO.
Honor and fun,

The application submitted by Haedirnil is as follows:
Quote:
Name : Haedirnil Game : Lord of the Rings Online Server : Landroval Level : 14 Gender : Female Race : High Elf Class : Captain
Please note: While we do have a presence on other servers, we are primarily a Landroval-based kinship. Our regular weekly events, and our marquee events Weatherstock and Winterstock, are held on the Landroval server.
Have you read & do you agree with LMB charter?: Yes
Do you understand that Kin chat channel is for LOTRO and Tolkien related chat only?: Yes
Use this area to share why you want to join LMB.: A good friend of mine, and someone I've spoken often with about Middle Earth coaxed me into playing, and I've been having a wonderful time so far. I came down to Bree recently to check out a concert and met some LMB members and was blown away by how lovely and nice they all were. If that's representative of the kinship as a whole, then wow!
Player info:
Age Range: 22+
Tell us about any MMO or RP experience you may have (RP is not required for membership, we are just curious): : So much. Soooo much. I started roleplaying on Age of Conan and Pirates of the Burning Sea, wandered over into WoW, SWTOR, and about a million games from there. I've always been intensely intimidated by RPing in a LotR setting, due to the depth of the lore and a rather large fear of screwing something up, but I've been RPing elsewhere for the better part of a decade and a half now.
Please tell us what time zone you are in. (i.e. EST): : Arizona, so sometimes PST, sometimes MST
Character information:
Tell us about your character: : My character isn't fully formed yet. I like to watch RP from afar for a bit before being comfortable with it myself. I know there's themes I want to explore, which factored into my decision of making an elf. Duty vs destiny, hope in the face of despair, world-weariness, devotion. Absolutely a WIP.
Please tell us of any previous/current kinships you have character(s) in LOTRO. : This is my first LOTRO character
LMB experience:
Were you referred by a current member? Who?: : Ellasse
Have you ever been to LMB hosted event? If yes, what were your impressions? If no, are you planning on it in the next week? (Highly recommended!): I'm not sure if it was an official event but I'm watching Miazine's band play right now and I'm absolutely loving it. I would absolutely attend other events.
Gameplay preferences:
What activities do you enjoy most in LOTRO? : Socializing, exploring the world and lore, comfy questing with audiobooks
Kinship expectations:
What are your expectations from LMB as a member? : Just a community of passionate folks coming together and having fun and making memories in a vast and beautiful world. Maybe a safe space for me to ease my way into RP.
What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? : I'd love to contribute however I can, even though at the beginning that will probably be just event help and lively conversation. So I think that might just boil down to an enthusiastic member and a helping hand as I take time to learn my way around this world.
Tolkien:
Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favourite scenes or images? : The trilogy, multiple times; movie, book, audiobook. I have the Silmarillion and I've been working my way through much of the Legendarium. I'm a language student and am working up the courage to dive into Quenya. My favorites... Aragorn and Arwen, Beren and LĂșthien. Tolkiens writings of love and the sacrifices made for it.
