I was a member long ago. In fact it was Galenswerd who interviewed me and admitted me into the kin. He turned over leadership to Harperella so I was around for much of the beginning. If you have ever watched the video he made of the Battle of Ballylochlan, my character was caught dancing in it. Woman dressed in green doing the hobbit dance. It matched well with the music he played.

I have played many MMORPG including Everquest, World of Warcraft, Rift, Age of Conan, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I used to do table top, pen and pencil role playing as well including D&D, Chivalry and Sorcery, and Harnmaster. To top it off I am a writer who has written several high fantasy novels. None published but I am hoping for the first one soon although likely self-published.

I have many characters and I have not played my captain, Tamirien for a long, long time. I still have to remember just where she was adventuring and indeed how to use her skills.

Have you ever been to LMB hosted event? If yes, what were your impressions? If no, are you planning on it in the next week? (Highly recommended!):
Many times. The original Weatherstock and a couple after. Many kin parties with music or Tolkien discussions and so forth.

Gameplay preferences:

What activities do you enjoy most in LOTRO? :
I like and miss the dance parties, but enjoy questing and crafting.

What are your expectations from LMB as a member? :
Just to get back into LOTRO with some like-minded people. I tend to remain on the periphery of groups although sometimes I can get chatty. That all depends on the topic though.

What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? :
Good question. Just being a loyal member. I try to help where I can although most players know a great deal more about the game than I do. I never got but one character past Rohan, and that was just into the first area past the Paths of the Dead. There is much I have never seen or done in the game.

Tolkien:

Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favourite scenes or images? :
I love the books and have read the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion. I do not like the movies at all. Good graphics, but lousy interpretation in many parts. The characters were changed to fit the movie plot which is a sour point.
