I see a new Syfy movie in this -
Poultranha... Half poultry, half piranha!

Once upon a time when I was (even) young(er) -just level 11 or so on Belegaer- I was in a kin that ran all those chicken quests together which was a ton of fun! And at one occasion we swam all the way to Evendim as chickens, jumped into the Water where it springs all the way to the Brandywine and then direction Evendim. It was hilarious and a great sightseeing tour (you have to swim right between the colossus' legs in Evendim). So yes, chicken can swim! It's the safest way past the wyrms and villains without even the need of an escort.

Pfft, Kindergarden stuff this. What you really fear is the upcoming sequel of Sharknado: CHICKNADO !!
Imagine... a million chicken hurled into the air and right on you with their sharp killer-beaks and the terrifying scream of a million terrified and histeric chicken when they realize the incredible depth they crash down from after the tornado hurled them up in formerly unknown (for a cluck) heights.
There are much more pleasant ways to die...
