It all started with World of Warcraft, and then LOTRO came along. I have been playing since before the expansions, I want to say 5 years, but Turbine considers it 4, since my subscription did expire a few times. I have never been involved with LOTRO end-game, and am happy to run around taking in the sights.

My name is Gwenadonna of the Fallohides. I love long walks along the Brandywine River and filterless cigarettes. Sorry, new to RP, but I am looking forward to seeing it in action. Although, walking everywhere is a deal breaker...lol

A kin I can call home. My analogy is a worn tennis shoe. It's comfy, and that is simply my expectations, I wanna be "comfy". I feel LOTRO started as a grown-up mmo. Most of the people were adults, and you did not see much nonsense. That has changed with the evolution of the game, so I long for serious talk of why the Middle-Earth stars are placed where they are and if Tom Bombadil could beat up Gandalf... I know I'm a little all over the place with this, and I've confused many a person on what a kin means to me...
Anywho, I thought I would try starting anew on Landroval (from Brandywine) and see what happens.
What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? :
Great sense of humor, people dig my announcer voice and believe the kin owes me nothing (i.e. fellowships for numerous runs through Barrows, power leveling me to 75 so I can get some phat loootz, or crafting me armour/weapons sans mats).

Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favorite scenes or images? :
Both. I am currently rereading the trilogy for the first time since playing LOTRO, and find it quite enjoyable reading about areas that I have been to (in a real literal sense). My favorite image is of Tom Bombadil, and imagining him to be the "Rambo" that he is.

I am a married, 42 year old male. I like Dramas on tv, and strive to avoid them in my gaming.

What are those "cigarettes"? I only know pipes to smoke pipeweed in.
Tom Bombadil is a "Rambo" type character? I never have seen Rambo singing evil trees to sleep I must say. And Rambo -as far as I know- never talked in rhyme, doesn't wear colorful clothes, walks in dance... er... but I surely would watch a film where he would be like that! Ha - that actually would be a blast! Maybe as a fun episode in "My little (Rambo?)-Pony"? Ok, I am serious again. I guess you are mixing Tom up with someone else. Never mind, this kin would be perfect to discuss such things.
Would anyone from "the good side" try to beat up Gandalf? I doubt it. For what reason? They would talk with him if they were in conflict with him but I can't see anyone being in conflict with him. They all work together as a team. That in the end is why they win. Btw, we are a really good team, too
One last thing... err... ...ummm.... *shy smile* .... can I get a sample of your announcer voice? *giggles*
Oh... and you should definitively come to one of the concerts our bands perform. Maybe tomorrow? The famous BBB will play at 3pm in front of the Prancing Pony. But I have to prepare you for the sight of Aegthil who well... er... well... just be prepared. On monday there will be a concert of the Andune Ensemble at 3pm at the Pony. And at 9:30pm there will be Ales and Tales. If you like ingame music with "sung" lyrics and poems, stories and such things you should come and visit one of these events. Or all. These three events are regular so if you can't make it you can come anytime.
