Our fundraiser page is up! We can track donations here during the auction:

The search function will also find "windy acres ranch".

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

Sent a stack of 50 of each dye color (all but black, which I will send after I have a full stack).
Also, sent 92 War Dispatches (Council of the North) and 3 War-Master's Lashes (Rangers of Esteldin).

Thank you so much to Ethlossoth and Tomeoric for their generous donation of dye mats!

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

Thank you so much for all of your donations!
I hope to get them inventoried and the first post updated tonight.

On a side note, we still need volunteers to play witnesses in the mystery game.
The game helps attract people to the auction which leads to more bidding and more money for the kids.

I'd be happy to be a witness.

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I can barter 1 huorn and 1 RT tapestry atm. Please tell me wich ones you'd like for the auction.

Are you talking about the pet turtle that drops from Gondor warband? I believe it's the rarest pet in the game; last time i saw it on AH, it was 5k gold. (what i'm saying that there is a very low chance to get one but i've been trying)

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I am back from my trip and have updated the inventory.

Thank you for the donations! I can tell that some of you have been working very hard.

Right now we need the following to complete sets:
* Lossoth/Forochel reputation items (100 at x700 pt value)
* Black dyes (5)
* Theorbo, Harp, Flute, and Moor Cowbell instrument manuals (1 each)
* Tomes of the Fox (1)

We could also use:
* Keys and high level loot-boxes
* Rare pets such as cave claws, chickens, stowaway rats, turtles, frogs, and huorns.
* Housing decorations (such as tapestries) that come from the Roving Threats.

Please help gather these items soon, as I hope to begin advertising the auction lots as soon as possible.

Thanks again! We are going to have a great auction fundraiser. :)

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I've been meaning to catch you at some point, Kira. I have a whole bunch of travel maps clogging my storage, and possibly some other stuff as well. Should I send them to you on Kiralynn?

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I'm sending the other RT tapestries, so now you should have a set of seven. Also a tome of pond frog (RT barter).

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

Thank you again to everyone who has sent in donations. You're the best!

Let's aim to have all the items gathered by the end of Friday, October 16.

This will allow me to organize the items into lots and advertise what we have to offer.

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

just curious. How many of each dye are being figured as a set? I will attempt to remember to make another batch of Black Dye today as that seems to be our lowest supply.

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I've sent another batch of dyes, hopefully it rounds out to having at least 70 of each now - that would be 10 sets of 7 of each color (enough to dye a full set of armour in each of the 28 colors), if that is how you are planning to divvy it up :)

edit: I didn't send a black as I saw Aldekim at the study and thought he might be doing so :)

If we are short any, just let me know!

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

I just noticed that someone donated an emerald shard and there was an empowerment scroll for leveling legacy tiers. Perhaps we could turn it into a 1st age package deal?

I could add a 1st age symbol (lvl 100), since you need the shard and the symbol to craft the 1st age. And I could add another empowerment scroll. If someone had an extra crystal they would part with, that would sweeten the pot even more.

re: Solve-A-Mystery Auction Donations List

A First Age lot would be perfect! Let's add it to the "Treasures" package.

I am going to group many of the items into lots, since we don't want to spend more than 30 minutes handling the auction.
Hopefully fewer but larger auctions will bring in some high bids.
With any luck, small donations will come in from people who are simply willing to help a charitable cause.

Here are the groupings I have in mind right now. Please offer feedback:

* Reputation Items set (if we get more items in time, need enough to reach Kindred with all factions, probably not as popular as it once was because of level gating)

* Animal Tome set (for lore-masters)

* (7x) 10-Pack All Dyes set (10 of each color per set, fixed price)

* Rare Tapestry set (one of each of the tapestries from roving threats)

* (2x) Music Manuals set (includes both the instrument and mentoring manuals, as much as we have...)

* Treasures set (right now we have relics, an emerald shard, a key, and an Anfalas scroll)

* (2x) Swan Knight set (one black and one white swan, what title does this unlock?)

* Grim Pets set (one of each Grim)

* Farm Friends set (includes auroch's calf, brown sheep, tan sheep, ginger cat, very fancy cat, and spotted shrew).

* Wild Pets set (includes pond frog, brown fox, auroch's caolm, black huorn, and spotted shrew).

I could put the pets into smaller groups if you think any of them are particularly rare and valuable?

I also think we should decide on a price up front for the dye sets, as it would take a long time to auction seven sets. How much should we ask for? Does anyone remember how much they brought in last year?

Again, I'm just trying to make sure we don't run over too much on time.

*checks logs*

The first dye set started at $5 and after a pause two more bids came and it ended at $10. And then three more sets were sold for $10 each :)
