Ever since the update my LOTRO client keeps crashing..... I'm hoping if I'm just standing still playing music it won't do that... :/

That seems to be a common problem from looking at the forums. Are you running Windows 8.1 by chance? Those who reported their OS were.
Here is a comment from Lonewarg on the Lotro forums, who thinks maybe he/she found a workaround.
Quote: | Ok I -think- I have a temp fix and something which may help track down what the problem is. I was crashing just as everyone else was and I noticed that my radar kept distorting and the orange arrows in it were ending up across my whole screen. So it has to be something to do with the new radar thing.
So first I turned off the radar smoothing option but still kept crashing. So now I've gone into the UI advanced options and SHRUNK my radar down as tiny as it will go. It's now tucked away in the corner in a tiny little circle and so far I've got 30 mins without crashing, which is impressive considering it was 5 mins before.
So, it's worth a try to shrink your radar down and turn off the smoothing. Even if it doesn't cure it it seems to have stopped it crashing every 5 mins for me. |
Hope this helps!
