My experience in LotRO has been as a solo player. The LMB members I've met at music events have been very nice, so this kin would provide a nice pool of people for occasional fellowships. I came to Landroval for the music scene. I enjoy playing music and listening to the many bands here. I hope being in LMB will further my musical aspirations.

When Briarhart was a wee hobbit-lad, a group of players came through his village. He was captivated by the music of the minstrels. They sang of the dangers and beauties of life that, as he grew older, he knew his small village could not offer. So when the time was right, using the woodworking skills learned from his father, he crafted his first lute and set out for adventure.

Secrets of the Fire on Crickhollow (blind invite). I've created The Dreadful Gate on Landroval with an alternative to secure a future band name.

I try to attend Ales and Tales every week. The people are extremely fun and nice, and the range of musical styles is amazing. I'm currently taking classes at Forte's Academy. As a solo player, being able to perform in an ensemble is a whole new level of enjoyment of the in-game music.

Music, questing, and farming crafting materials.

What are your expectations from LMB as a member? :
Meeting and playing the game with people who appreciate the depth and beauty of Tolkien's world and in this game. Watching the full moon rise over Muddyfoot'so Hill took my breath away once...
What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? :
I'm an easygoing person who plays the game to have fun and not to be perfect. I enjoy the offline work in creating ABC files, so I think I could contribute my musical skills in performing with and helping others with the in-game music.

Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favorite scenes or images? :
I've read The Hobbit, the trilogy, and The Silmarilion several times throughout my life. I'm currently reading Unfinished Tales. I've watched LotR movies a couple times (very good) and seen part 1 of The Hobbit movie (meh). Tom Bombadil is probably my favorite character from the books. Scenes from the movies that stick with me would be Boromir's last stand, Eowyn slaying the Witch-king, and of course Aragorn's "for Frodo" at the Gates of Mordor.
