There is also just the normal Horse show: Riders walk, trot, lope around the rail at the announcers call, gong in both directions when the announcer tells them to turn in the other direction. Everyone dresses in their finest tack and clothing. You could have beginner classes with regular horses and advanced with combat horses. You would need a judge too.
Or just go out on a trail ride into one of the many woods or mountain areas.

The RL Drill Team I was on did parades too. Every 500 yards or so, they did a mini formation maneuver, such as a pinwheel or a do-se-do, and the crowd loved it. One of the grandparents on the team was a clown at the end of the team carrying a shovel and doing baton twirls and other silly things as he picked up the manure. With a parade like this, several clowns/pooper scoopers would be needed. LOL

We've also done warsteed-romps from Bree or Thorin's Hall all the way to Rohan, which are much fun too. A reminder of just how large Middle Earth is.

I love the group runs, whether they be for fun or warband hunting. If folks are interested I wouldn't mind leading a warband hunt once a week or so. Really useful now even on the easier warbands as you get marks and IXP runes!
