re: GDPR#2569513

The lowbie run through Great Barrows was AMAZING!!! It was my first ever and I learned so much and had a great time.

Whenever I've tried such things in other MMO's in the past and always ended up feeling either overwhelmed or yelled at for doing the wrong things because I didn't know the patterns of the event or the details of the system. So thank you so much for the great information and patience even when I got the whole group killed... at least that only happened once! Hehe

SNS is going to become an unmissable weekly event for me :) You guys and gals are the best.

xx
Burrberry.

You were a part of why kin grouping is so much fun too Burrberry!

re: GDPR#2569513

It was a very busy sunday night siege this latest sunday, that's for sure. I ran 3 great barrow runs myself, I know there was at least one other great barrow group running (haven't heard how many wings they ran), and there was also a rather exuberant group running around in the rift!

Haven't heard much back from either of the other groups, but I can imagine that a great deal of fun was had by all.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the event - Sunday Night Siege has always been a time for making friends, meeting kinfolk, and learning grouping basics in a very encouraging and low-pressure environment.

Now, keep in mind, with all the leveling, needs, desires and instance limitations, there's a great deal of work that goes into gathering groups at various level ranges, and it can be hard to satisfy everyone's needs and interests - sometimes impossible - so I hope you can be patient, make your voice heard when the callouts go out, and we'll do our very best to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities to group with kinfolk

also keep in mind that we have several other regular and semi-regular instance runs occurring throughout the week now. keep checking the forums to get updates on their schedules and events, and hopefully I can make them easier to find as soon as I can find a decent block of time to restructure the SNS subforum.

The Rift group had a great time, to be sure. While we had the logistical challenge of some folks not being able to hear Eluridan, which meant having to type out instructions, and the fact that time had dulled our memory of finer details of some of the fights, it still went relatively quickly and without too many casualties. :) Thanks to El for great leadership!

So between a great OD run on Saturday (thanks Beorbrand)and Rift adventures on Sunday, it was a fun raiding weekend!

re: GDPR#2569513

I really need to thank .. was it Andeon???..... for taking myself and my friend Bjedde in a lowbie run through the Great Barrows. Tinki joined up when we lost a member, and having an off tank made such a great difference. The explanations of how to run the instances was EXCELLENT. I have not had much of a chance to run group instances and having someone there who was patient and explained things well made a huge difference. Bjedde concurred that he got the best explanation about that instance he had ever heard. I got to learn how to use my mini correctly. Yay! lol

The others in the group were a great bunch of people to work with. So happy I went on that lowbie run instead of the Rift! (But I want to do that one one day as well)

In my opinion this kin should accrue funds needed for cloning Andeon so that we have 100% leadership coverage of grouping events for all kinnies at all levels.

EEEK!!! only if the other Andeon's can also be convinced to take over/assist my writing, lmb activity planning duties, and work...

if all they're doing is SNS, then trust me, nobody wants 5 of me running around...ESPECIALLY not me!!

re: What's next?

I am a new member and would love to participate in SNS. I have toons in the 30s, 60's, 70s and 85.

Do I just check this forum weekly?

I am by no means an experienced raider but I love running with fellowshps and will do about anything except the logs in Helchie (they hate me).

Hallo Belli! Every Sunday at 5pm Shire time we start furrowing our brows in decisions for what to run on SNS (Sunday Night Siege). Sometime in that hour following we reach a consensus about what we want to run and who will lead.

If you see Andeon logged in on Sunday, its time for SNS! We can be running 3 and 4 groups during those hours to try to cover everyones wants.

Too late! Not sure if Andeonna is still in the kin or if she has been booted already, but there is still a female version of you running around somewhere. I should probably break her out on Sundays and come play with you guys again.

re: GDPR#2569513

I would *love* to do Great Barrows with either one of my characters, both of whom are levelling through the 20s this week. I will plan to be online next Sunday -- is that 5p EST? -- but if anyone wants to do a run at some other time, look me up. I have heals and ranged dps, and I follow instructions well. :)
