Forum Image

Currently using this for my desktop wallpaper and thought I would share it.
Sadly, it loses a lot from the forum shrinking it.

full size is here..

A lovely scene! And the secret to get around the GL shrinkage is to right-click on the image and open it in another window.

re: Overlooking Fangorn Forest

It looks beautiful. I may have to risk the increased aggro threat to view some of the new areas since it is likely some time before I will be at a proper level to actually quest there.

Ok, Am I the only person who sees these images and wonders (even if ever so briefly) why the game has lagged enough that I can no longer adjust the camera angles? F12 isn't bringing up the UI either... /smackhead D'oh!

Beautiful, Kyrian! The scenery in Rohan makes me wish I could run around in high graphics all the time...alas, that is not to be!

I'm currently mired in Mirkwood (Will those elves EVER stop bossing me around?!), so this is an excellent inspiration to get me to hustle up and level out of there! lol

Great shot, Kyrian!

re: Overlooking Fangorn Forest

Thanks for sharing Kyrian. I have to admit that The Eaves of Fangorn is possibly now my favorite area of the game, visually. It is absolutely breathtaking and spectacular. If nothing else it is certainly the most immersive area of the game. I only wish it was bigger and that there was more to do in there. Treebeard's Hill, where your shot was taken, would be a brilliant ATE spot as well.

I swear to Eru: That one tree just looked directly in my direction!

re: Overlooking Fangorn Forest

Actually this is not Treebeard's hill though it looks similar. It is near the last ent you are sent to awaken.
I agree that Treebeard's hill would be a very cool ATX location :)
