Have you read & do you agree with LMB charter?:
Yes

Do you understand that Kin chat channel is for LOTRO and Tolkien related chat only?:
Yes

Use this area to share why you want to join LMB.:
I'm a casual player since beta looking for a more active, social kinship. I've seen and attended music events in-game hosted by LMB and I've been impressed by what you guys have done. I'm a musician IRL, so I'm hoping there will be other folks I can connect with in-game as well. I'm generally an independent solo player, but I do like to pick other players' brains on builds, skill rotations, gear, etc. I'm hoping an active kin will complement my LOTRO experience. If I pick up more knowledge of the music system in-game, so much the better.

Player info:

Age Range:
Old Fogey

Tell us about any MMO or RP experience you may have: :
My first MMO was Asheron's Call in 2000. It was an outlier as far as MMO design goes, but it really hooked me on playing in a persistent shared world. I've also dabbled in D&D tabletop roleplaying the past few years, but I'm generally not a RPer in LOTRO. I have a lifetime account for LOTRO, which has proven to be one of the best investments I ever made.

Please tell us what time zone you are in. (i.e. EST): :
EST

Character information:

Tell us about your character: :
Osiran is the namesake of my original MMO character from 2000. He then was my first character on Landroval, a Warden, but has languished in the 40's while I played other arguably easier classes like the Minstrel and Champion.

Please tell us of any previous/current kinships you have character(s) in LOTRO. :
I have characters in "Here Be Dragons", but am usually the only person online..

LMB experience:

Have you ever been to LMB hosted event? If yes, what were your impressions? If no, are you planning on it in the next week? (Highly recommended!):
I have briefly attended Weatherstock in past years, and I did attend the large event outside Thorin's Hall this past winter.

Gameplay preferences:

What activities do you enjoy most in LOTRO? :
Questing, chatting, crafting.

Kinship expectations:

What are your expectations from LMB as a member? :
I expect respectful, friendly, witty, and active chat channels where members share information and tips. I hope to engage with like-minded folks who are having fun.

What do you think your strongest contribution to LMB would be? :
A strong knowledge of music with a healthy dose of enthusiasm for strong drink and (legal) pipeweed.

Tolkien:

Have you read the books or seen the movies? What are your favorite scenes or images? :
I have both read The Hobbit and LOTR and seen the movies. The lighting of the beacons scene in LOTR was amazing visually and musically with the incredible brass writing and playing on the soundtrack.
